Succession Pool Manager Dashboard

 I created a dashboard instead of a discovery board since there were no indexed data sources available to be able to report the way that was requested. I then created a simple table to be able to bring in all the data that was asked for about the candidates that had been nominated to the pools. I also had several visuals that looked at the candidates from a standpoint of readiness and talent indicator. Reports were configured to display data for the organizations led by the person viewing the dashboard, thus optimizing for the leaders and removing friction from the process.

 HR professionals were able to spend their limited time during the succession cycle on taking action to ensure that pools would be filled with quality candidates by the time the cycle closed. At a glance, leaders could keep on top of their progress and This was the first time the company engaged in succession planning so no other reporting was available to leaders or HR professionals. Without this solution ~ 50 hours of manual data extraction and manipulation over the course of the succession selection cycle would have been required in total as various HR professionals would have been extracting and re-extracting data as it changed to analyze and distribute.
