Indigenous & Female Representation Discovery Board

 A discovery board in Workday was developed to include key quantitative metrics that support tracking progress against Suncor’s I&D objectives. The discovery board was designed with an overview tab to display representation by different segments on one tab and additional quantitative metrics for a deeper dive into key areas of interest for each of the different segments on their respective tabs. Among other fields, the ability to filter to different areas of the org structure was also built into each tab. Some filters were added with the intent to be transparent for important fields like ‘leave type’ that specific consumers might want to adjust. 

 Upon delivery of the solution, 20 hours of manual reporting preparation work every quarter was eliminated. In addition more detailed and telling reporting was now available that was accurate up to the last completed month on a 12 month rolling time frame. All effort could now be focused on achieving the targets instead of administrative work.
